A Child is Born :-)

We are so happy and proud!

On May 19. Karin gave birth to a beautiful baby boy.

His name is Amir.

Needless to say, that at the moment, Hamada is the proudest daddy in all of el-Bairat. If we didn't know any better, we could swear that he has grown at least tow inches :-)

internet marketing workshop

Hi dear friends,
Yestherday we had an Internet Marketing workshop.
It was to give information to mainly locals how to use the internet to have more business.
Colette was very clear in her information and she offered to help each of us.
We got a CD with all the info, let's hope this way we can promote Luxor and our businesses to get more people to come back to Luxor.
P.s. hopefully in 2 weeks we have baby news :-)

Eastern Holiday

Hello dear friends,
Slowly live turns back to normal in Luxor, it is still more quiet than usually during this time of the year, but slowly the tourists are returning and we have good hope that during the Eastern Holiday Luxor will be at least a bit busy, which of course will be good for everybody here.
The concrete structure for the new wing (8 rooms) is done and so are the walls, soon the nice part will start, hopefully next week we will be able to publish some pictures.

schools closed for an extra week

Hi, just got the news that the schools will stay closed for another week, normaly the mid term holiday is finished next Saturday.
Live goes on as normal just without guests.

No more guests

We have some sad news, for the first night tonight we have no guests in Nile Valley Hotel, let's hope for all of us that the political problems are solved soon so we can go back to work.

Hello dear Friends,
Welcome to our Blog, we have decided to start a Blog because of the many emails and telephone calls we have received after the political unrest in the big cities of Egypt.

Let's start to say that we are not noticing much, the biggest problem was that we did not have internet for 5 days and until now we are not able to send sms text messages.

Luxor is quiet and we have several guests at the moment in Nile Valley who are enjoying the sun and history.

Please check our Blog every now and then to see if it is a good time to visit the ancient city of Luxor.
